Glass Processing Training Program

One of the challenges in any glass processing companies is ensuring that all of their workers are well-trained and knowledgeable in their respective works. This however requires a lot of efforts not just for the newly hired workers but for the trainers as well.

Companies will rely on the people working on the shop floor for all of the information that newly hired employees shall acquire as they join the company. Having large amount of information that they need to absorb, it will be quite difficult to ensure that new employees are indeed able to get all the information that they need.

Aside from that, I observed that large efforts are exerted by employees that are tasked to train the newly hired workers. For example, the engineer that was assigned to train the newly hired engineers are usually busy as well on their respective daily tasks which makes the training really lousy and not really informative. Although the new workers may learn as he works in the factory for some time, it also posts a lot of threat in safety and quality.

Because of this, I decided to create an online training program for newly hired workers in a glass processing company. The lectures are asynchronous therefore the employee can take the training course on their preferred time. In fact, they can even watch the training videos at home since it is operating online.

The training program in composed of several training modules which employees of different designations can undergo specific training modules depending on their work assignment. It covers from the very basic of glass handling up to a more complicated topics in glass processing.

With the help of this training program, companies can rest assured that their newly hired employees are trained in a proper manner and all of the necessary information are conveyed to them.
