Why do we need to correct wrong practices?

I always believe that proper training is necessary in the factory in order to ensure that newly hired workers are equipped with the necessary knowledge that they need to perform their tasks properly and effectively. 

However, there are other surrounding factors that may affect their performance as they spend some time with the workers inside the factory. One of those is when they observe people doing things differently and consistently. New workers will tend to follow what is being done "normally" in spite of the training that they had been through.

Have a look at this social experiment. On this video, the woman followed what she observed to be the "normal" actions being done in a particular scenario without knowing why they are doing that.

This is one of the problems that we have now in our society. People will follow what they observe that most people do. They are so afraid to ask why and so afraid to be different from others.

Imagine having workers in the factory who are doing wrong practices in their respective jobs. Chances are more will be doing the same thing if it will not be corrected immediately. It is therefore really important to constantly check the procedures and how it is being implemented inside the factory.

Managers of their respective departments must not allow bad practices within their department. This is to protect the overall result of their work and accomplish their tasks in the correct and effective manner.
