Established the Health, Safety and Environment Management. Ensure compliance with UAE's HSE requirement

When I joined White Aluminium Enterprises LLC - Glass Division, the Health and Safety Department is not yet established. Compliance with the HSE requirement of the Occupational Safety and Health of Abu Dhabi (OSHAD) is mandatory. Hence, it has been our priority to ensure compliance and establish the HSE system in our company

Establishement of the Health, Safety and Environment Department

As soon as I was given the task to establish the HSE department, I immediately took action and accomplished the following with the cooperation of the HSE team:

FORMED THE HSE DEPARTMENT - The HSE Department has been formed in accordance with the need ans structureof the company. The manpower requirement is carefully studied and analyzed to ensure that it is sufficient to impose the health and safety requirements. The HSE team members are carefully evaluated in order to ensure competency on their assigned tasks.
ESTABLISHMENT OF HSE PROCEDURES - The HSE procedures are created in accordance with ISO 45001 and the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health of Abu Dhabi (OSHAD). Our HSE manuals are prepared in full compliance of these requirements and communicated with all the workers in the company.
COMPLIANCE WITH OSHAD - The OSHAD compliance is of paramount importance for business establishments in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The strict procedure is carefully analyzed and implemented.
TRAINING AND HSE AWARENESS - We established a system to ensure the competency of the workers and awareness to our safety procedures by conducting a routine HSE training to workers in the shop floor. The training records are kept and recorded in accordance with ISO 9001.
